Autumn Days

Autumn is my favorite Season.

There is nothing like the feeling of a wonderful autumn day! The sun shines, but it's not so hot so you can enjoy a nice brisk walk. The leaves on the trees change beautiful colors, red, oranges, and yellows. Walking through the park you hear the crunch under your feet. This is the time of year for apple picking and pumpkin patches. Two things about this season I love the most! Autumn always reminds me of home.

Remember, as a kid, spending hours upon hours raking the leaves?? Your parents always wondered why you would volunteer to do a chore....little did they know that it wasn't really going to get done. We would rake the leaves into a HUGE pile, then jump into them. We would spend more time in the leaves, throwing them at eachother, laughing. There is nothing like the sound of laughter on an autumn day!!

Just Because....

Ever have one of those days where you want to dress nice but you don't want to dress up? That is the way I am feeling today. International Fashion Week: Part Deux

International Fashion Week 2010 continued.... I wanted to show off more of the wonderful gifts.
I was at Thorndale Gallery ...yes, I know...I am there quite a lot!! I was hanging out listening to some music and dancing. I have on this cute dress from G. Sloane Couture called Paisley Park. The skirt really flows when I dance...I like that!! Makes me feel really feminine!!




Next, I decided to look around the Gallery. I stopped to look at this photo that I took at the AM Radio Sim. It really was a beautiful place! I am wearing another very feminine strapless dress by Angel Dessous.

International Fashion Week 2010

Thursday kicked off International Fashion Week 2010 (IW10), founded and managed by Patty Cortes, a fashion event produced by Glance International Agency (GIA). The International Fashion Week 2010 is in the midst of presenting 20 fashion shows in 4 days. Running from July 15th to July 18th, the fashion shows will run from 1PM SLT until 6PM SLT.

There are 20 featured fashion designers: Hyper Culture, Convoitise, Mea Culpa (featured here), Indyra Originals, Ranena Olivier Couture (ROC), A La Folie, Aleida, Angel Dessous, Orage Creations, KIM Fashion, Nefertiti Kimagawa, Son!a (featured here), MIAMAI, Faster Pussycat, G. Sloane Couture, and PurpleMoon Creations.

Along with the fashion shows, there are number shops, designed by Chloris Hathor, with other creations from these wonderful designers. In the shops, there are Beautiful items up for Auction. It is really a must see!!! And while you're there...don't forget to pick up your gifts :)

Summertime

The Style of Scarlotland varies from day to day depending on my mood or what is going on for me that particular day. Today, I am in a more casual mood. I am enjoying the summer in the garden area of Thorndale Gallery. I, so can't wait, for the opening party of Thorndale Gallery. We have been so busy getting the garden ready.

I really wanted you to see these fabulous new Espadrilles from Gos. They are very detailed. With color changing options on the toe, lace, ribbon, and seam, they would go perfect with any outfit!
