Week Two: Coral

  
     Coral is the 2nd color in Luna Jubilee's 52 Weeks of Color Challenge - Part Duex.   There are different colors for Coral,  I chose this feminine dress because it had a way of taking all my problems away and make me feel like a girl again.  When was the last time you wore Coral?

Week One: Champagne

     It's that time again for Luna Jubilee's 52 Weeks of Color Challenge - Part Duex.  I had started the first one but failed terribly.  I do believe in 2nd chances so....here I am!!   What better way to start the year then with the color Champagne!   One thing I love about a new year is the right to drink Champagne.   I love the bubbly.  :)

Alphabet Challenge - Letter A

 Good Morning!!  I've decided to try my hand at What *is* Willis Talking About's Alphabet Challenge.  A few of my friends are doing it...so I should be able to right?  We'll see.   I am not a very persistant blogger, so I am hoping that this will keep me going, and possibly help me find what I have been missing.  I hope I am doing this correctly, if not can someone please let me know :)   So...there you have it...the first post completed. 

Adelaide Show on Eclectic Diversity

      Ah, remember going to the carnival as a child?  I can!  I remember the wild rides and the music floating through the air.  The breeze blowing if that certain Amusement park was on the water.  I even remember the taste of salt in the air.   Some of you may have even found a one time love.  The joy of being young!

 

     A couple Austrailian Ladies have put together a Second Life version of The Adelaide Show.  Complete with rides, games, crafts and even food.  This is truly a sight to see.   There is a balloon ride, which gives you a small tour.  And then there is this balloon you sit on...but be careful...you start floating away.  This will allow you to steer yourself all over the sim.  This way you can move at your own pace.  Just be careful not to let go when you are too high.  There isn't a hospital close by. :)

    

     The Attractions line the boardwalk on both sides.  There are Bumper Cars,  Swings,  a Rocket Ride to name a few.  There is a craft building, where you can try your hand at pottery, and weaving.  Also, in the craft building, there are beautiful pieces of artwork.  One of the popular things at the Royal Adelaide Show are the Show bags.  For those that don't know, Show Bags are goodie bags loaded with anything from food to cosmetics.  You will find Show Bags near the landing point just inside the shop.  Yay!! 

     And now who goes to the Fair without getting something to eat?  I had to stop and get some of my favorite....Ice Cream!!  It even came in a waffle cone,  how fun is that?   There are numerous food stands, but don't worry this is Second Life---we can have whatever we want because we don't gain weight unless we choose to!!  Giggles!

     Please come and visit!!  Have a few laughs!!  This is truly what Second Life is all about!  On Thursday, September 8th at 5pm slt,  the talented and beautiful Minerva Galdonaldo will be enchanting us with her beautiful voice by singing a few songs and reciting some wonderful poetry.  Also, on September 9th at 6pm slt,  The Zoltan Mint Magic Show will take place. Tale Weavers

     Ever wanted a place to just sit around with friends?  Perhaps playing a game or exploring, or even just sitting and chatting?  Well, my friends, Attica & Huntress have created such a place.   They created the Tale Weavers Sim.   This sim is landscaped nicely and you will find many fun things.  There is a library and a hidden lab, are you good enough to find it?  They are starting to have contests,  such as logic problems & trivia.  They want it to be a fun place to hang out.  Please when you get a chance stop by for a visit.  The Tale Weavers

     Week Thirteen of Luna Jubilee's 52 Weeks of Color Challenge is the beautiful color of Emerald.  I am a little behind, but will try to catch up!  I seem to have some free time on my hands, just shouldn't take that long.

Who's There??

                     

     With a little free time on my hands, I decided to do a little exploring.  I came across the entrance to a cave and thought ..Why Not!....I have my lantern with me so I will be alright.

   

                            

     I searched high and then I searched low.  I am not sure what I was really looking for but was determined that I would know when I find it.  The caves were dark and mysterious, with a mildowy scent.  I wonder if there is anyone who lives here or maybe even animals that roam around freely.

     EEEK!!!  Well, I am sure you guessed it by the look on my face.  I found a RAT!! Or you can say the rat found ME!!  I screamed really loud and the sound echoed just like it would in the movies. Boy, am I glad that I wore my GOS Curvaceous Boots today.  Not only did I look good, but my feet were protected from that rodent!!!

What a Wonderful Day for a Tea Party

     I did a little shopping today and purchased this cute little Girl-Talk Hut at the Pure Juice Venue.  Made by the talented, Veronica Kanya,  this hut is perfect for get togethers with your friends.  The Hut comes furnished with 3 chairs with sit animations,  cute little knick knacks,  and a great wall decal.

    I invited my girlfriend, Libby, over and we ate some cake and drank some tea.  Which are included in the decorations by-the-way.  The Hut alone is a great 22 prims, with accessories the Hut comes to 137 prims.   

     The colors are definitely feminine and makes me want to spend time with my friends.  So call them up, invite them over.  Be casual or go with the Tea Party Theme like I did.  Make some memories that you will never forget!!

    

     Here I am...yes Blonde, can you believe it??  I am in the new dress from Cool Beans.  This dress is also available at the Pure Juice Venue.  The shoes are included with the purchase of the dress.  This is a perfect spring tea party dress!!! 

    

     

     The last thing on my list to talk about is this Fabulous blanket from What Next.  I like picnic blankets but I LOVE this one!!!!   This one comes with a guitar you can play, which also has sound so you can actually hear the strumming of the strings.  It also comes with various sit animations, including a listen to the music animation, which is a sit-sway animated pose.  Also included is a picnic basket with drinks & sandwiches.  This is a MUST HAVE!!

In The Garage

  

   Just recently, I decided to pick up a part-time gig, and since I am newly single..what better place to work? A garage!!  Imagine all the types of men!!  They started me out on the pumps my first day.  Kinda boring, but hey- ya got to start somewhere, right?

 

 
  The 2nd part of the  day got much better.  I was asked to assist the mechanic (was he ever cute!) and help him get the parts he needed.  Now.. what was that part called?? Hmm..wonder what it looks like??  Hey, I never said that I would be good at this!!

    Time for a little break!! Look at what I found in the drawer while searching for parts...PlayBoy!!   Guess these guys like a girl who poses...no one is around let me try!!  I think I'm gonna like it here!!! 

   
  Time to fix my hat...freshen up!! It's just about closing time...some of the guys want to go out for drinks!! What do you think...do I look cute?  I think so, and frankly, that is ALL that matters!!  hehehe

    
One of the perks of working here is FREE gas.  I fill up my own tank and get ready to go.   This job is going to be great!!   Haven't met the man of my dreams yet...but I know he'll show up sooner or later, meanwhile  anyone want a ride???  *winks*

52 Weeks of Color: Week Ten: Sienna

  

    I'm slowly catching up to the current week of Luna Jubilee's 52 Weeks of Color Challenge.  This week I am working on Week 10:  Sienna.  This top is the closest that I found to match this color.  This Top & Skirt comes from Last Period, one of my favorite shops in Second Life.  I love the long skirt look!

Also, I am wearing Truth's Odette in the new color, Marmalade.  I love it <3!!!  Shown here is the *New* skin by AMD called Katey in Carmel.  So warm!
